Women’s Windsurfing

New for 2023, a weekly series of lessons for women (those who identify as women or non-binary) to learn windsurfing or improve their existing skills.

You do not need to be very fit and we will do our best to accommodate any injuries/disabilities etc. You do need to have a basic level of confidence in and around the water, but being an ace swimmer is not required.

The instructors are usually female, although you might have to put up with the occasional male! All our instructors are highly-qualified and very enthusiastic. You will get very wet, a bit cold, and laugh a lot!

We have lots of new windsurfing equipment including some nice stable boards for beginners and a range of sail sizes.

Sessions run weekly and you can book a block or just one to see if you like it.

We have wetsuits you can hire for £5. You’ll also need to bring lunch or buy it nearby. Bring a towel and swimsuit, and wetsuit boots/old trainers. We provide buoyancy aids.

If we have to cancel because the conditions are inappropriate we will either reimburse you or you can re-book.
