SUP's or Stand Up Paddleboards are well established in America and Australia as both a leisure pursuit and a means of keeping fit.

Paddleboard taster

This 30 minute training session is to give you a few hints and tips on basic paddling so you can get yourself more confidently around the bay.

We have a few dates in the diary however if you can't make those we could plan around your timetable and our instructors' availability.

Paddleboard lesson

In this 1 hour session you will learn about hazards and equipment as well as get taken through and be given time to practice posture, balance, correct paddling technique and different turns.

You might have done a taster before or be a complete beginner so we can pitch the lesson according to your ability.

Specific dates are available for you to book, however if these do not fit with your trip, call us to see if another suitable date can be found.

Paddleboard fitness class

These popular 1 hour classes this year are on Monday evenings 7-8pm.  Our first class will be on 24th April 2017 through to the end of August.

It combines skills and exercise training using a stand up paddle board (SUP).

Don't worry if you have never done it before as this class will help develop your SUP confidence and increase your fitness.

Our minimum class size is 4.

You need to be over 16 to take part.

Paddleboard yoga class

1 hour Paddleboard yoga class. 

For those looking for a challenge and a fun but uplifting experience.

This session provides the physical, physiological and mental benefits of yoga with the added core strengthening and challenge on your proprioception (body awareness)!

The minimum class size is 4.

You need to be at least 16 to take part.

SUP tours

Paddleboarding along the coast from New Quay.

These SUP tours will be lead by Andy one of our instructors who is keen to share the beauty of where he lives.  If you are lucky you may get to see the dolphins or seals on your tour.  You will certainly get to see the stunning coastline at your own speed.

To get the best out of the tour you need to be a confident paddleboarder and able to turn.  You will be at least 12 and reasonably fit for this 2 hour tour.

SUP club

You don't have to be a lone paddler.  Paddle with us Wednesday evenings from April to September.

This is not a class but an opportunity to paddle on your own board or one of ours in the company of others who just like being on the water. 

Meet either Amanda or Laura  at the centre ready for a 6pm start.  You can get changed in the centre before heading out into the bay.

You need to be over 16 to take part.
