Have you completed your RYA Powerboat Level 2, or are you already an experienced powerboater? Would you like some more instruction and a bit of a challenge?
We will spend a couple of hours at the Centre using charts, tide tables and weather forecasts to plan a passage north to visit the rivers Ystwyth, Dovey and Aeron, entering and leaving each harbour to practice different techniques.
The passage plan will be created to visit one, two or all three rivers depending on who’s on the course and the weather on the day.
This is not a certificated course, but you will be taught by highly-qualified skippers who will help you gain confidence and skills.
Expect to be flexible on the timings to make the most of the tide. Please note that we can only run this course with a minimum of two people and a maximum of four.
We will use Gemini, our fully-coded Highfield RIB. See more >> [link to Fleet page]
