Safe & Fun Safeguarding

An online course aimed at dinghy and windsurfing instructors and seniors, and anyone else involved in working with children and/or vulnerable adults at an RYA club or training centre.
Newly qualifying dinghy/windsurf instructors and senior instructors are required to complete this course prior to their instructor course.
Understand good safeguarding practice, how to recognise potential signs of abuse, how to deal with it and who to refer any concerns to.
This course is equivalent to classroom training of approximately three hours. However, the benefit of learning online is that you can work through it at your own speed.
