Quad Bike Policy
Shall only be used by staff over 16 trained by the Centre manager.
Extreme caution must be used in respect of members of the public, in particular children and dogs off leads.
Vigilance when using on steep gradients, main pier slipways and boat yard
Awareness when towing of height of tow, esp. of towed boat masts.
Before moving check your load or tow is secure
Before and during reversing look behind you
The law does not require a helmet
Is a road-legal vehicle only when used with the number plate properly attached.
Is not a marine vehicle
If more than the tyres are wet, hose down
Key should not be left in the ignition when bike is unattended.
