Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment policy

CBW owns lots of Personal protective equipment. Wet suits, buoyancy aids, lifejackets, cagoules, foul weather jackets and trousers.

Treat the equipment with care and encourage students and customers to do likewise.

Every item needs to be visually checked every time it is issued and returned.

Damaged or failed items should be quarantined out of service using the red and white striped tape which is available as self-adhesive or tie on.  Then reported using the equipment log book in the centre and to the centre manager.
