Dinghy Sailing Taster

Learn and have fun with the Experts

This is a great way to have an introduction to or refresher in sailing in smaller boats – single or double-handed dinghies. We will start with a land drill to teach you the basics, then take you out for two hours in New Quay bay. We use Toppers, Picos and Lasers, and also Bahia or Laser 2000s depending on conditions. You will get wet and have lots of fun!

We will provide you with buoyancy aid and wetsuits (£5 extra) and boots unless you want to use your own.

You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to give it a go. Ages 8 and above, with a max of four people.

If you don’t find a suitable date, get in touch and we will try to arrange a taster to suit you.

Two people minimum, four max.

After a taster you can come to Saturday Sailing for more two-hour bargain sessions! Or book onto a 2-day RYA course.
