Windsurfing is a great and exhilarating sport and now it is easier than ever to learn with the advent of the new "wide-style" boards. We have sessions and courses to suit novices and those who have already mastered the basics. Our aim is to maximise the time on the water where our instructors can help you develop or improve your skills.

A Taste of Windsurfing (1.5 hours)

Have you wondered what it is like to windsurf? Well here's your chance to give it a go. Starting with the absolute basics, you'll soon take to the water to make your first steps. This one-and-a-half-hour session gives you time to get underway with close supervision, you could soon get hooked.

Start Windsurfing (2 Days)

This is the first in a series of progressive windsurfing courses that leads to the RYA Level 1 award in the National Windsurfing Scheme. The course uses a mixture of 'on the water' and land based sessions to ensure that you master those all-important basics that form the firm foundation on which to build your skills. By the end of the course you will have grasped the basic windsurfing technique and will be able to sail, turn around and bring yourself back safely, as well as understand how to handle your board ashore and afloat.
This course is also available over 3 x 4 hr morning or afternoon sessions.

Intermediate Windsurfing Non-Planing (2 Days)

This course will help to fine tune your basic skills, making your windsurfing faster and more fluid. New techniques such as beach start and harness work will gear you up ready for the excitement of blasting control. To benefit fully from this course you should already be able to sail on all points of sailing in light winds and have the knowledge of the Start Windsurfing Course. After this course you should have the ability to sail on all points in stronger winds, with beach starts and faster tacking and gibing.

"Tailored Sessions"

If you want to brush up on any particular points of your windsurfing, we can structure sessions to meet your needs, either individually or in a group. Contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Windsurf Hire

If you have already acquired some windsurfing skills, you can hire our equipment by the hour. This facility is an ideal opportunity for you to practice and consolidate your skills in preparation for moving on to more advanced courses or simply an opportunity to have some fun. Safety boat cover is provided.
