When you participate in activities with us, you will be looked after by our professional team. Here follows some brief details of the key members, with a few action shots of them 'strutting their stuff'.
Centre Manager and Chief Watersports Instructor
Ceri joined the project in 2005. He has long experience working at multi-activity centres and is qualified to instruct sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and powerboating. He is rarely far away from water as in his spare time he is a volunteer helmsman with the RNLI or (weather conditions being right) he will be seen windsurfing in the bay.
Chief Yacht Cruising Instructor
Damian is a Yachtmaster Instructor. He brings with him many years experience of being at sea, initially in hovercraft and latterly as proprietor of his own yacht charter company and shore based sea school. When not sailing his own vessel around the UK or Irish coasts he is off delivering yachts for other people.
Senior Instructor
Gwen has sailed the waters of Swansea and Cardigan Bays from a very early age. She enjoys her teaching and as senior instructor takes her turn to supervise the day-to-day running of the centre. Her current boat is an RS 200 and her summer challenge is finding enough time to sail it. Off season Gwen is studying for a degree in engineering.

Dinghy and Powerboat Instructor
Dinghy, Kayak and Windsurfing Instructor
Peter's interest in watersports started with kayaking and he can often be seen demonstrating his considerable skills in the bay. His interests have widened to other watersports and his instructor training has been sponsored by the Reardon Smith Nautical Trust. He is looking forward to playing a wider role in the community at the centre and with the RNLI.
Centre Principal and Dinghy and Powerboat Instructor
Steve has been sailing for some 20 years. He helped establish the centre in its early years and took on the role of principal when it became independent. Apart from contributing to management, he enjoys teaching and sailing his own boat.
Bookings & Kitting out
Sheila has been with the project from the day the doors opened and play's a key roll in getting everyone ready to go on the water in good time. She is a keen sailor and enjoys racing, crewing for Steve in their Laser 2000.

Assistant instructor and Safety Boat
Kyna started her interest in watersports when she attended the centre with her school's sailing club. She enjoys spending time on the water on a sunny afternoon supervising the numerous kayakers who visit the centre, and trying to spot dolphins in the bay. In the closed season she is studying for a degree in environmental science.
